Martin Knowles is an architectural photographer based in downtown Vancouver, BC. He discovered the joy of photography at a young age and realized that he had a particular passion for documenting the built environment. This led him to working in large format film and photographing architecture as a creative outlet while studying computing science and fine arts. In 2007, he founded Martin Knowles Photo/Media to serve the design, architectural, and building communities.
Through working with Martin on his social media, specifically his Instagram, I was able to create graphics and motion graphics for different events that were featured on his Instagram stories that still rung true to his established brand.

These stories were to advertise Martin’s Learning Units: a one-hour, complimentary lunch-and-learn on specifying architectural and interior photography to Vancouver-area architects and interior designers. While they would normally share lunch with people onsite, with coronavirus on the loose…they’ve moved online!
The Georgie Awards were started by a group of industry professionals who decided to start a housing awards program, not for economic benefit, but to provide value to the residential construction industry and communities throughout British Columbia. Martin and the team look forward to it every year.
